My Process

The process that helps me curate the best names from the depths of human imagination and the internet.

01 Onboarding

The creative brief is sent out immediately. A delivery timeline is then shared after the brief is received by me.


02 Analysing The Brief

I treat this with the most importance. After going through the detailed brief, I decide the naming direction (the type of name that will best suit the company). 


03 Customer Research

The first hours go into researching your target audience,which serves to solidify the naming direction or challenge it. 


04 Brainstorming

I use a dozen of well-advocated-for brainstorming methods (one includes sitting at a cafe without my phone) to get the creative juices flowing.

05 Culling

The list comes down from a few hundred to just a few. Names are culled based on quality, availability, linguistics and stickiness. I also cull based on a preliminary trademark and linguistic check. (Visit the terms & conditions to know more)

06 Presentation

You receive the final name set with rationale, availability report and recommendations for use.
